Inflatables and Weather

All inflatables are weather sensitive, therefore we will adhere to wind restrictions laid down in the European standard EN148960 2019.

Mainly, inflatables shall not be used in winds exceeding force 5 on the Beaufort scale 18 to 24 MPH – 29to 38KM/H. When making the assessment the likely hood of gusts and the site vulnerability to wind should be taken into account.

All anchor points will be used at all times and ground fixing pegs will be a minimum length of 380mm and a minimum thickness of 16mm.

In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.

The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used. Even with a shower cover, anything more than very light rain, then the castle should be turned off and the electric blower and any extension should be disconnected and brought in out of the rain.
